Just had breakfast here with my husband. Pretty good place. The food was good as well..

The food was so so waitress was to comfortable with sitting down at a back table there was a bald head maintenance guy that speaks very loud walking back An fourth cursing An being very noticeable at 1:00 a.m in the morning like he just left a club on a coke extravaganza An to top it off I ordered steak An 🍳 s instead of telling me before I ordered a $22 steak that there was no steak sauce they waited until they brought my food to the table to spring the good news 🤣🤣 Suggest u ask if they have what u need to to complete ya order before you actually place ya order

I like this place you have to tell them EXACTLY how you want your food but they get it right so thats ok with me. I dont like the fact they if you dont know the price they rip you off one day a small coffee is a 1.25 then 1.35 then back to 1.25 then to 1.55 so pay attention but other than that its a yay for me

This restaurant is now closed for Good but just across the street to the left on 161street on Walton ave you'll find there sister store Court deli. Same owners.

Card got cloned here and I’ve had to cancel it after attempted fraudulent charges were made to my account. Service was sketchy with bad attitude, it was generally a very grubby establishment, and they missed items off of our order. All in all, despite proximity to Yankee Stadium, just don’t bother.

The worst grill chicken ceasar salad I ever eat. I order and the give me a ceasar salad without dreasing, cheese ans parmesan cheese. When I ask the give me a dreasing look like ceasar but it was italian dressing. And claim that what they have. Totally disappointed.

Have to wait for a while until waiter to take your order, but it doesn't take long to get food ready. Good service. Tasty Philly steak sandwich and fries are not too salty. Generous portion of cake. Though the chicken fingers is a little bit dry, still had a good time here.

the bathroom needs a door alarm bell so no one from the outside can use it and all the chairs need better cleaning specially between the seats and this incredible place will have more business. If you invest a little you will gain alot, the cook is great but cleanliness is extremely important to a business.

Great place to eat. The French Toast is so buttery and the burgers and gyros are bar none the best in the neighborhood. Open at all hours and the coffee is always fresh.

I really love this place. The food is kind of greasy but it has a nice old school classic dinner feel to it. Come by yourself or with people and you'll enjoy the atmosphere.. waitresses shouting orders to the cooks half Spanish half English All Bronx. And everything tastes really really great. Hope this place stays around forever.

Good food, good service. Come by after 9pm for fresh donuts. Still warm when they come out.

Place was dirty and the service was terrible. The food wasn't any good either. Coffee came in a paper cup and milk was in a Dixie cup. I would have walked out but I was starving but if never go back

Personally I think the food is excellent and the people there are the best they treat you like family I tell all my friends if they're in the area this is the place to go eat Crown Donuts and mr. Peter and he is the best and Nick man he's got his all right they go out their way to help you the staff also and little Pikachu I always call him Young fella but I remember he said whatever and then when he's a little kid now he's helping out running the business go to Crown Donuts I recommend it highly.

Crown Diner has delicious food. I always come for the breakfast food. They have many options for breakfast good.

This place was my spot for so many years but for the last 4 months I went from going 4 to 6 times a month to I call and depending who picks up the phone I'll go and get my order. I order for pick up because I'm coming from Harlem and don't want to wait but since I started seeing these young faces I always seem to have to wait. Tonight I went I placed the order 20 minutes before I got there and saw my guy who I haven't seen in a while got a little happy thinking oh great everything is going to be good. He check on my order and I didn't get a reply so I'm waiting cause the young lady was a little busy but when she finally got to me I was told give me a little because it got busy. In other words I didn't put your order in. That defeats the purpose of the call in order.Again I love this place and love the food but I really hate bad service.

Servier,good n friendly food good

Loved their burgers and mozarella cheese sticks, they also filmed a movie here about the life of a dominican baseball player who couldnt make it any further in the mayor leagues years ago. The place was calm and they make sure you are really taken care of.

Burgers are very good here and you can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu

I'm basing the review on breakfast only, I havent had lunch or dinner here. The breakfasts are good and plentiful. They're busy always but my order came out pretty quick. I had the combination omelette platter, which was ham & cheese, tomato, onions, mushrooms and it cam de wirh home fries & toast, small oj and coffee. The service was good and friendly. Looks like alot of regulars go there.

It is very sad to report that after 35 years of service, this establishment has closed their doors for business today, December 9th, 2018 as of 8 p.m. It appears that many local shops and establishments in this area are suffering from the effects of gentrification in this area of the South Bronx. I have been here numerous times in my lifetime and have never had a complaint. Their food was terrific, their drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and represented a symbol of culture in this area. This was a great place to go eat after a game at Yankee Stadium. Conveniently located near the Yankee Stadium 161st 4 train station, as well as an excellent community that helped build this business, this diner will surely be missed. Thank you to the owners of Crown Diner and the staff. We wish you well and happy holidays.

The food is pretty great and the servers are friendly. My only concern are the people that come in late night asking for money. But the front woman handles it. Just wish they had fresh orange juice.

Currently has a C rating by the Nyc health department which they are forced to post at the front door. That alone made me turn away at the door 🤮🤢😷. Love this place for many years but it has been deteriorating rapidly as far as appearance and cleanliness. From the inside of the restaurant to the always filthy disgusting bathrooms. The owners need to consider shutting down and renovating the place they made enough money through the years to do that.

Hands Down one of the Best Diners in the bronx. Once you enter your greeted with smiling faces and an overwhelming desire to sit down and dig in. Ive been coming here for years. Even after a move about an Hour away I still find myself coming down to enjoy some good food with some good people

For decades they have provided quality service to our community. I have been enjoying the ambiance since I was a child.

Cash only diner. Classic American style menu. Prices aren’t bad and service tends to be relatively quick. Busy during the morning rush hour time as it’s right near the 4, B and D subway station. Waffles here are delicious but be sure to eat them fresh, not ordered for delivery as waffles rarely travel well. Enjoy!

Food was average, I had a chicken wrap and fries, while my friends had chicken tenders and fries and a turkey burger with onion rings. The onion rings were more like funyuns and the fries were bland but the wrap was above average and the turkey burger was good, but the chicken tenders were hard and the honey mustard was too runny. They also advertised ice cream which i was excited for with my Apple pie but they didn't have any so the pie went solo. Would only go again if i was in the area and not in the mood for McDonald's.

Great Diner. Great food. The food isn't the problem here. The problem is the location. Too many crackheads asking for money. It's real annoying.

Probably my favorite local diner. Waitresses know you by face and if you're a regular they most likely know what you want to order. They don't hover over you like in other places, which I enjoy. Food isn't bad when the Arabic cook is there, but otherwise its not too bad. Ours an entertaining experience over all.

This place always gets it right especially after midnight. The service isn't warm and fuzzy. It's fast and efficient. For some reason, they never make mistakes. The turkey bacon is always extra crisp just how I like it.

Worst spent money on food ever. Over priced dinner the medium rare was well done and fatty oh so fatty. The broccoli wasn't even green more translucent like the inside of a cucumber (old) over cooked. The baked potatoes pre baked n edges green/brown also over done. The shrimp was the best part yet also breading over fried. Prob good for breakfast def not Dinner.
